Post it Booklet

Diese Woche brauchte ich ganz dringend für einen swap bei einer Yahoo Gruppe etwas mit Katzen. Da der swap nach Australien ging, sollte es nicht zu schwer sein und alles was ich fand war groß und schwer oder zerbrechlich...seufz! Da fiel mir während der Nacht (ja ich schlafe schlecht, aber oft kommen mir da die tollsten Ideen) ein, dass ich ein Post-it Büchlein machen könnte, so wie ich es beim Workshop bei der Stempelmesse in Stuttgart gemacht habe. Gesagt - getan! Und das kam dabei heraus....

This week I needed really urgently something with a Cat theme for a swap, where I am member of a Yahoo Group. The swap should go to Australia, so the little something relaly should be little and not too heavy, but all I could find was too heavy or breakable...sigh! During the night (yes, I do not sleep well, but often I get my best ideas when I am sleepless) I remembered the Workshop at the rubberstamp fair in Stuttgart. So next evening after work I started my Post-it booklet and here is the result....

Challenge up your life #1

Das ist meine Karte zur ersten Österreichischen Blog-Challenge "Challenge up your life".
Finde es toll, dass es auch einen österreichischen Blog Challenge gibt und nachdem schone meine Tochter Nina Ihre Karte zur Challenge eingestellt hat, kommt nun auch meine.

Verwendet habe ich einen alten Stempel von Penny Black: Cherry Jubilee, das Papier ist von Doodlebug, ebenso der Brad. Der "Just for You" Stempel war gratis bei der Zeitschrift "Do crafts - creativity" aus UK dabei.

For my card I have used one of the older Penny Black stamps: Cherry Jubilee, paper is from Doodlebug, the cherry brad as well, the "Just for you" stamp was a free stamp with the do crafts - creativity magazine from UK.

Summer Splash

Nachdem es nun endlich bei uns auch sommerliche Temperaturen gibt musste ich mal die Tilda vom Summer Kit 2008 (den neuen Kit habe ich ja nicht) verwenden und eine kleine Szene damit gestalten. Nachdem das ganze ganz schön groß geworden ist blieb nicht wirklich viel PLatz auf dem Rest der Karte. Ich hoffe Sie gefällt Euch trotzdem....

Finally we have summer temperatures and so I had to use my Tilda from the summer kit 2008 (I do not have the new 20009 kit) and made a little scene. It became quite large so there was not much space left for more things than the little frog Brad and the "Splash" words. I hope you like it anyway...

Garteninspirationen II

Bevor es heute wieder wie aus Eimern schüttete und sogar ein bisschen hagelte, habe ich gestern Abend noch schnell meine neu erblühten Lilien fotografiert. Lilien sind meine Lieblingsblumen und seit dem letzten Jahr habe ich drei verschieden Farben. Die Dritte blüht erst auf und hat letztes Jahr gar nicht geblüht, daher weiß ich nicht einmal die Farbe.
Ich habe auch den Phlox und meine Ringelblumenrabatte gleich mitfotografiert.

Before it was raining cats and dogs again today...it was even a bit hailing (!) I had to take a few pictures of my new blooming lilies yesterday evening. Lilies are my most favourite flowers and since last year I have three of them...all in different colours. As the third one was not blooming last year I do not know the colour of it. It is not blooming yet. I have also taken some pics of my phlox and my marigold border.

Make the Best of your rainy days

Nachdem es schon wieder nur regnet und ich diese Karte vor einigen Wochen (wo es auch Dauerregen gab) angefangen habe, habe ich sie heute fertig gemacht. Die Farben sind in Wirklichkeit ziemlich grell und die Karte ist schön bunt...hier sieht es etwas balss aus. Sie wird demnächst bei einer lieben Freundin im Postkasten landen, der es momentan nicht sehr gut geht. Ich hoffe es wird Sie ein bisschen aufheitern...

It is raining again and as I have started with this card a few weeks ago (when it was raining cats and dogs as well) I have finished it today. The card is a lot more colourful in reality, not so pale like the scanner is showing it here. There was not much left to do, so it was an easy job ;)
This card will arrive soon in the mailbox of a friend, who is going through a rather difficult time and I hope it will cheer her up a little bit.

Was für eine tolle Überraschung hatte ich heute in der Post!!! Meine liebe Freundin Alexandra, der ich meine letzte Karte (Gorjuss Girl) zum Geburtstag geschickt habe, hat mich mit einer total süßen Dankeskarte überrascht!!! You make me smile

Nachdem die Geburtstagskarte nun angekommen ist, kann ich sie nun zeigen. Ich habe diesmal etwas andere Farben verwendet, was mir aber sehr gut gefällt. Die Gorjuss Girls finde ich soo süß, da musste ich natürlich auch welche haben, nachdem ich meinen Blog schon dementsprechend umgestaltet habe ;) Den neuen Herz-Spellbinder (also für mich neu) habe ich auch gleich verwendet.

My Birthday card has arrived and so I can show it to you. This time I have chosen different colours and one of my two new Gorjuss Girls rubberstamp. I like them a lot and since I also have my Blog Background with them it was high time to have some of these stamps as well. The heart spellbinder is also new and so I could use it for the first time as well.

More poppies

Next to our village there is a big poppy field! Three years ago there were only lilac poppies, but this year there are more of the usual red one's. As I forgot to take some pictures three years ago I did not last Monday, when I was on the home from Melk and had my camera with me. Here are some impressions....
