Am Seerosenteich

Hallo meine Lieben!

Puh...diese unerträglich Hitze hier seit drei Wochen macht mich wirklich fertig! Meine Muse ist mir auch abhanden gekommen, denn ich konnte mich einfach nicht dazu aufraffen eine Karte bei über 30°C, manchmal waren wir der 40°C Grenze schon fast näher, zu basteln. Wir haben weder zuhause noch im Büro eine Klimaanlage und so macht mir eigentlich gar nichts Spaß bei dieser Hitze....
Nun ist endlich wieder ein Kärtchen vom Basteltisch gehüpft und es hat natürlich mit Wasser zu tun ;)

Hello my Friends!

Phew...what a terrible Heatwave we have for the last three weeks! My Mojo totally went  away at degrees over 30° C (about 90 F and more)...sometimes we were even nearer the 40°C (100 F) than the 30-ies and I could not start with any crafty things. I can not stand this heat and we do not have any air condition at work nor at home....
Finally I could make a card lately on one of the "cooler" days and of course it has to do with water ;)

Das Inspirationsfoto von Kartenallerlei hat mich sofort an diese süßen Stempelchen von Penny Black erinnert....
Because of the Inspirations photo at Kartenallerlei I first tought of these cute Penny Black stamps:

Außer der süßen Maus, die im Seerosenblatt sitzt und sich von einem Schmetterling ziehen läßt, habe ich noch die beiden süßen Frösche (ich liebe Frösche!) gestempelt und einen davon in 3-D aufgeklebt, um die Szene zu vervollständigen.

Apart from the sweet Mouse sitting in the lily pad, I have also used the two cute Frogs (I love Frogs!) and glued one of them with 3-D pads into the little scene.

Verwendet habe ich noch die tolle Memory Stanze "Chloe Stem" und habe diese einmal in flieder und einmal in gelb ausgestanzt und mit Perlenpen verziert. Die Libelle ist ein toller Stanzer, den ich mal geschenkt bekommen habe. Man sieht leider schlecht, dass er glitzert.

I have used the great Memory Punch "Chloe Stem" and have cut out one in purple and one in yellow and decorated it with my perl pen. The Dragonfly is a great punch I once got a s a present. Unfortunately you can not see that it sparkles.

Die Libellen auf dem Papier sind ebenfalls gestempelt. Leider kann ich euch nicht mehr sagen, woher ich den Stempelgummi habe....Der Rest vom Papier ist von Basic Grey. Verwendet habe ich noch die Magnolia Stanze "Berry Lace".

The Dragonflies on the green paper are stamped. Unfortunatelly I can not tell you, where I once bought this stamp....the rest of the paper is Basic Grey. I also have used the Magnolia Doohickey "Berry Lace".

Hello my sweet Friends!

It is Monday and this means a new Challenge at "Take Time for You".

Did you enjoy the sun during the weekend and the lovely weather? Finally spring has arrived! And soon we also will see Butterflies flying around.

Can you guess what is the new theme today? Yes...it is 

Butterflies

Ich habe diesmal eine Dose gepimpt und eine dazupassende Karte gewerkelt.  Eigentlich hatte ich ganz was anderes im Kopf...eine eher pastellige Farbe und wieder ist alles kunterbunt geworden....seufz!

This time I have pimped a Box and made a matching card. My idea in my Head was totally different...I wanted to make a card in pastel colours...soft...and again I came out with a very colourful and bright one...sigh

Ich habe wieder eines meiner Lieblingsmotive benutzt: Butterfly Girl von  Sugar Nellie, designed by Krista Smith. Ich liebe diesen Stempel!! Es gibt jede Menge Schmetterlinge auf dieser Karte, angefangen beim knallbunten Papier, der Martha Stewart Boderstanze, den Whimsey Butterfly Kissen Siegel, dem Schmetterlings Charm und vielen gestanzten Schmtterlinge.

I have used one of my most favourite rubberstamps: Butterfly Girl by Sugar Nellie, designed by Krista Smith. I just love that stamp! There are really LOTS of Butterflies on my card starting with the colourful paper, my Martha Stewart Boarderpunch, Whimsey Butterfly Kisses Seal, Butterfly Charm and many little Butterflies.

Rechts habe ich jede Menge Blümchen aufgeklebt,
zwei Schmetterlinge und den Swirl von Magnolia.


On the right side I have glued a lot of Flowers, two Butterflies and used the big Swirl from Magnolia.


Auf die Dose habe ich nur mehr den großen Schmetterling von Marianne Design angebracht...alles andere wäre hier zu viel gewesen.


On the Box I only put the Big Butterfly from marianne Design on Top of it.....I think more would have been too much!

Mit dieser Karte möchte ich Euch allen einen guten Rutsch und alles, alles Gute für 2012 wünschen!! Feiert recht fleißig und ich hoffe Ihr besucht mich auch im neuen Jahr wieder recht fleißig auf meinen Blog =)
Seit langer Zeit habe ich wieder einmal meine House Mäuse rausgekramt. Ich fand diesen Sketch bei "Seems a little Sketchy" super!

It is quite a long time since I used my House Mouse stamps last time....what a shame! The Sketch at "Seems a little Sketchy" was just perfect for them ;)

Im Hintergrund habe ich meine neue Tim Holtz Uhr ausprobiert. Ein Kleeblatt-Knopf, ein paar Sterne und ein Band haben die Karte noch "aufgehübscht". Ich hoffe die Karte gefällt Euch ein bisschen!

In the Background I have used my new Tim Holtz clock punch. A shamrock-button, some stars and a ribbon were added to the mice and backgroundpaper and voila...finished =) I hope you will like my card a bit!

Back to School

 

Bevor ich mich auf die Terrasse mit einem Buch vertschüsse und endlich richtiges Sommerwetter genieße, möchte ich Euch noch schnell meine neuerste Karte zum Thema "Back to School" vorstellen.

Ich habe den süßen neuen WOJ Stempel "Ich liebe die Schule" eingeweiht.

Before I will enjoy the finally arrived summer weather on my terrace with a good book in my hand I have to show you my newest card creation with the theme "Back to School". Two more weeks to got here in Austria....

I have used the cute WOJ stamp "Ich liebe die Schule/I love School" for the first time and I love it!!

Im Hintergrund habe ich eine Schultafel gemacht. Darauf habe ich mit weißem Stempelkissen die Zahlen, die beim Schulmädl dabei waren, draufgestempelt und passendes Hintergrundpapier verwendet.

In the background I have made a Blackboard. I have used a white inkpad and the numbers, which were included with the little girl, and used some fitting background paper.

Dann habe ich das Mädel noch mit 3-D Pads aufgeklebt und das Sentiment angebracht.

Then I have sticked the girl with 3-D Pads on the card together with the sentiment.

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Ich kann das ewige Regenwetter einfach nicht mehr sehen!!!! Gerade jetzt wo ich Urlaub habe nichts als Regen und Temperaturen um die 15°C oder sogar weniger....seufz! Zum Aufheitern habe ich heute eine Beach-Karte gebastelt.

I  can't stand this weather anymore!!!! I am on Holidays at home and nothing else than rain, rain and more rain...the second week now in a row....temperatures around 15°C or even less....sigh! I had to cheer me up a bit and made a Beach-card.

Die Idee mit einem Beach-Häuschen oder wie man die nennt, kam mir letztens in einer schlaflosen Nacht. Das Häuschen war schnell ausgeschnitten, die Surfin' Tilda habe ich vorne mit 3-D pads angeklebt, ebenso den Magnolia Wegweiser.

The idea for this beach-house or how you call it hit me in a sleepless night. The house was cut out in a few minutes, then I glued Surfin' Tilda with 3-D pads on the right side and on the left the Magnolia sign.

Ich habe noch ein paar Palmenblätter angebracht und auf das Häuschen ein Schild.
I also have made some palm leaves and a sign on the house.

Tilda mit Lamm

Es ist kaum zu glauben, aber das ist meine erste (und letzte?) Osterkarte für 2011. Gerade eben fertig gestellt...puh....so spät war ich wohl noch nie dran. Wie gefällt sie Euch?
Ich habe die süße Tilda mit Lämmchen aus der Osterkollektion 2010 verwendet und diesmal auch eher untypische Farben verwendet: türkis, weiß und etwas gelb...

It is unbelievable but this is my first (and perhaps last) Eastercard for 2011. I have just finished it....phew.....I think I never was that late with my easter cards. So..how do you like it?
I have used the sweet Tilda with lamb from the Easter Collection 2010 and used quite untypical colours for Easter: teal, white and a bit yellow....

Kleine Vampirlady

Hallo liebe Blogbesucher!

Hi to all my Followers and Guests!

Diesmal habe ich eine kleine Vampirlady für Euch. Alle Stempel auf der Karte sind von Bettys Creations und endlich habe ich mal welche benutzt...habe ich doch schon seit dem letzten Halloween Stempel aus Bettys Shop. Trotz der süßen Stempelchen bin ich diesmal nicht wirklich mit meiner Karte zufrieden. Selbst jetzt beim einstellen sind mir wieder einige Möglichkeiten eingefallen was ich anders gestalten oder noch machen hätte sollen.... seufz! Momentan scheine ich keine wirklich kreative Phase zu haben...dabei liebe ich Halloween.

This time I have a card with stamps from bettys Creations like this cute vampire lady. I already have ordered some stamps in her shops last year but hardly used....this is really a pity, as they are just too cute! Although the stamps are cute I am not really satisfied with my card this time. Even now when I write the Blog message I see some things I should have made different or I want to change....sigh! At the moment my mojo has gone...strange, as I love Halloween cards...

Die Blume habe ich noch mit Glimmermist eingesprüht..sieht man leider nicht (fotografieren ist zur Zeit auch furchtbar bei dem Wetter!), die Fledermäuse sind Cuttlebug Stanzen

The Flower was sprayed with glimmermist (you don't see it...taking pics at the moment with this horrible weather is a real challenge!), the bats are from cuttlebug

Sweet strawberries

Wo seid Ihr denn alle?? Im Bad oder auf  Urlaub? Oder macht Euch die Hitze auch so fertig und unkreativ wie mich?
An dieser Karte bin ich jetzt eine Woche gesessen, aber zufrieden bin ich noch immer nicht damit, aber heute habe ich sie fertig gemacht. Leider gibt es ja keine Erdbeeren mehr....Kirschen sind dieses Jahr kaum auf dem Baum und so habe ich gestern nach Büroschluss Ribisel (für die deutschen Freunde: Johannisbeeren =).....) bearbeitet. Dabei habe ich bei diesen Temperaturen eigentlich zu gar nichts Lust....nicht mal schlafen kann man während der Nacht...aber ich will mich ja nicht beschweren.....

Where are you all? Are you on the beach or at the pool or already on Holidays? Or does the terrible heat affect you as much as me?
I was working on this card for more than a week....I am still not satisfied with it, but today I finished it. Unfortunately strawberries are not longer available, our cherry trees are nearly empty...there were hardly any cherries this year and so I was working on my red currents after the office yesterday, altough I am not in the mood for anything at the moment beause of the heat....I can't sleep during night as well....
But enough of that...we should be glad to have a nice summer at least....
