Weihnachten rückt immer näher und ich werde immer nervöser....
Meine Kartenproduktion kommt einfach nicht weiter....:( Nun hat mich auch noch letzte Woche die Grippe eingeholt und ich lag mit Fieber im Bett.
Gestern habe ich dann schnell zwischen Samstagsputz und abendlichen Gesangsauftritt meiner Tochter diese Karte hier fertig gemacht. MIt der Coloration bin ich sehr unzufrieden. Ich kann mich momentan nicht mit meinen Aquarellstiften anfreunden, die ich sonst immer nehme und schiele immer zu den tollen Karten auf anderen Blogs, die mit Distress Ink oder den Copics bemalt werden. Ich habe nun ein paar Copics, aber eben nur ein paar und damit fängt man auch nicht wirklich was an, wenn man Farbverläufe malen will...:(
Das Motiv "Uru mit Vogel" von Whiff of Joy finde ich so süß und da passte doch auch gleich das tolle Papier, das ich bei der Bastelmesse gekauft habe, super dazu!
Außerdem passt meine Karte zu den beiden Challenges von "Whiff of Joy" , "Stamp with Fun" und "EAC - Everybody Art Challenge"

Christmas is getting closer and I am getting nervous....
My Christmas card production is not really improving also because the flu hit me last week and I was in bed.
Yesterday I just had to finish this card between house cleaning and the singing event of my daughter. I am not satisfied with my coloration! At the moment I dislike to colour with my aquarell pens and I mainly admire the cards on other Blogs using Distress Ink or Copics. I have a few Copics...but the main word is FEW! And this is not really a big help when I want to make nice colour gradients...:(
I used the cute Whiff of Joy rubberstamp "Uru with bird" and the birdie paper I bought at the craft fair in Baden just suits perfect!

Na was meinst wie es mir geht mit der WK-Produktion! Ich habe noch gar keine einzige Karte geschafft und fürchte, ich bekomme das dieses Jahr nicht mehr auf die Reihe. Hoffe mir ist niemand böse :(

AntwortenLöschenDon't stress too much girl! You could always choose to send out some ready made cards... I didn't do homemade cards this year as it was just too much this year. Not really what I like but there will be another time next year I guess.
After all it's something you need to enjoy rather than getting nervous about! And I guess your mind just is too much preoccupied to care right now. That's just normal at a time like this, isn't it! Take care of yourself... way more important!
